Subway access

Easiest access is by Nagoya City Subway. Take the Sakuradori Line (桜通線) to Sakurayama Station (桜山駅) and take exit 3 (３番出口). Follow signs for Nagoya City University Hospital.

Bus access

NCU Sakurayama campus is also accessible by various bus routes. For example, from Kaneyama station (金山駅), the following routes are available:

Bus line 12 (金山12金山~金山). Get off at stop 7, “shiritsu daigaku byouin” (市立大学病院).
Bus line 14 (金山14桜山経由). Get off at stop 8, “shiritsu daigaku byouin” (市立大学病院).

Sakurayama (Kawasumi) Campus

The lab is located in building ⑤ of the campus map above. The front entrance has a plaque reading “Institute of Brain Science”. Neuro-oncology is on floor 6. At time of writing (May 2025) there is construction on buildings 13, 14, and the taxi rank. Subway Exit 3 surfaces near 14.
