The 74th Brain Medical and Biological Research Meeting was held jointly with the 3rd Young KYOUEN of the Japanese Society for Neurochemistry, chaired by Prof. Kazunobu Sawamoto, Director of the Institute of Neuroscience. Professor Kawauchi delivered an invited lecture on ‘Understanding the Mechanisms of Pediatric Brain Tumor Formation Based on (Epi)genomic Abnormalities and Exploring Novel Therapies. The Kawauchi group participated in the fundraising activities of the German Brain Tumor Research Foundation’s ‘Ein KIWI gegen Krebs‘ by taking a team photo from Japan. This initiative aims to unite teams globally to combat pediatric cancer.
